Earlier this month a record salmon was caught on Lake Oahe. That's just one of 102 fishing records that the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks keeps track of.

Of those records, 37 of them are devoted to fish catching by means other than a hook and line such as spearfishing, netting, or bow and arrow.
