2014 PGA Tour Preview, Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, and an Indoor Option for Winter Golf in Sioux Falls
It's anything but golfing weather in the upper Midwest these days, but it's business as usual for the PGA Tour in the early days of 2014.
The tour is already up to its third event of the new year this week as the players move to the desert of Southern California for the Humana Challenge.
The first two PGA events of 2014 were in Hawaii, where Zach Johnson pulled off the win at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Maui, followed by Jimmy Walker's victory at the Sony Open in Honolulu. Both Walker and Johnson already have two wins since the very abbreviated off season break.

Two of the biggest names in golf have been pretty quiet on the course so far this season, but away from golf the paths of Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods have been much different.
While Tiger has been out of the news most of the last several months, McIlroy, who was supposedly split from longtime girlfriend Caroline Wozniacki, after reports that she was distracting him from golf, is now not only back together with the pro tennis player, they got engaged New Year's Eve:
