We're inside of 11 weeks to go until the 2018 NFL Draft and the stock of one local player is trending high.

South Dakota State tight end Dallas Goedert, on a lot of mock draft boards as a solid second round pick, has evolved into a projected first rounder on at least two boards.

Both Bleacher Report and SB Nation have the Britton, South Dakota native going in round one to the New Orleans Saints, with the 27th overall pick.

SB Nation's take on Goedert?

Goedert is a good pass catcher for a tight end and is comfortable in space and working up the field. He would thrive in New Orleans’ offense.

In his four years in Brookings, Goedert had 198 catches for 21 touchdowns and nearly 3,000 yards.

The 2018 NFL Draft runs Thursday, April 26 through Saturday, April 28, at AT&T Stadium, in Arlington, Texas.
