8-Year-Old Cancer Patient Signs WWE Contract

Elijah Mainville has been a lifelong WWE fan. At the age of three he was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, a form of childhood cancer that affects the nervous system. For the past five years he has undergone treatment and back in April, the cancer was in remission, but it returned in July.

It has been his dream to become a WWE superstar. Back in May, Elijah’s mother posted this audition video to YouTube.

Well after seeing the video, WWE executives Triple H and Stephanie McMahon invited him and his family to Monday Night RAW and after the show went off the air, Elijah’s favorite wrestler Stardust escorted him to the ring inside the SAP Center in San Jose to sign the contract, becoming a WWE superstar.
