I never thought you'd see a story about an older man suing a teenage boy, but that is now happening.

In Placer County, California, little league baseball coach Alan Beck is suing his own player after the kid tossed his helmet while celebrating a win. The helmet smashed into the lower leg of the coach, tearing his Achilles tendon.

As reported by UPI.com,

Beck is now suing his own player for "$500,000 for pain and suffering," and "$100,000 for lost wages and medical bills."

For a 14 year old boy, that amount of money would account for years of chores.

This story had me thinking about all the instances in sports in which players hurt themselves in celebration. Who could ever forget Bill Gramatica injuring himself after kicking a field goal in the 1st quarter? Now you can relieve some of those.
