Sunday's race saw a six time champion eliminated from the Sprint Cup Chase. Jimmie Johnson is out due to car trouble.

Johnson, who entered fifth in the standings and was the owner of ten wins at Dover. His Number 48 Chevrolet was forced off the track for 36 laps with a torn rear axle seal, causing him to finish 41st.

Kevin Harvick advanced to the second round of NASCAR's playoffs with a dominating performance at Dover International Speedway.

Carl Edwards also advanced, along with Joey Logano, Ryan Newman, Kurt Busch, Brad Keselowski, Martin Truex Jr., Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch.

The 2015 NASCAR Chase series continues next Saturday in Charlotte.
