ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Minnesota Wild right wing Jason Pominville has moved closer to returning to the lineup.

Pominville took part in the team's morning skate on Tuesday before Game 4 of the first-round playoff series against Chicago. This was the second straight practice he was on the ice.

Pominville hasn't played since taking an elbow to the chin in a game against Los Angeles two weeks ago. He wasn't specific about his injury but said he's been feeling better. Wild coach Mike Yeo declined to declare Pominville in or out.

Blackhawks defenseman Duncan Keith was absent from the morning skate because his wife had a baby boy. Coach Joel Quenneville said Keith was expected back in time for the game.
