Al Horford has decided that he will leave the Atlanta Hawks and head north to the Boston Celtics.

Horford and the Celtics agreed on a four-year max deal worth $113 million with the four year of the contract being a player option.

The past two seasons Horford has been to the NBA all-star game and last season averaged 15.2 ppg, 7.3 rpg and 1.3 blkpg.

Boston had enough cap space to give out two max-contracts this offseason and with the signing of Horford might be able to attract another big name.
