After first meeting in 2014 in the inaugural College Football Playoff semifinals, the stage has been set for this year's National Championship title game between a pair of unbeaten teams. Number-1 Alabama (12-0) and number-3 Ohio State (7-0) will kick off tonight after an unprecedented season.

Coverage on ESPN 99.1 begins at 6:00 PM live from Hard Rock Stadium, home of the NFL’s Miami Dolphins as Alabama is going for its 6th national title with Nick Saban at the helm.

With a COVID-19 shortened season for Ohio State, according to Associated Press, a win means the Buckeyes will have played the fewest games of any national champion since Minnesota finished 8-0 in 1941.

Players to watch tonight:

Justin Fields, Ohio State QB
DeVonta Smith, Alabama WR
