YANKTON, S.D. (AP) - Authorities investigating several burglaries in Yankton County have made one arrest and say more are possible.

The sheriff's office tells the Daily Press & Dakotan newspaper that 25-year-old Travis Johnson, of Yankton, was arrested on theft, burglary and drug charges. A telephone listing for him could not immediately be found.

Authorities are looking into three business burglaries in Gayville and Mission Hill, as well as thefts that happened in the Gayville, Irene and Volin areas. They happened this year and last year. The most recent burglary was in September at a grain elevator in Mission Hill.

Thousands of dollars' worth of stolen items have been recovered.
