The post season honors are coming in for Augustana's Shaunteva Ashley and Casey Schilling.

The Viking standouts are among the second team selections on the Daktronics All-Central Region teams.

Ashley's team-best 18.1 points per game ranked second in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.  The Sioux Falls Roosevelt grad scored at least 20 points in a game on 10 occasions this season, with Augustana going 8-2 in those games. She also scored 30-or-more points twice, including a career-high 34 points at Upper Iowa in a high-scoring 97-93 Vikings' win on Feb. 21. Ashley's 4.1 assists per game ranked eighth in the NSIC,  highlighted by dishing out a season-high seven assists on two instances.

In Augustana's final 18 games, Ashley averaged 21.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.

Ashley also made the record book, becoming the 28th Viking women's basketball player to score 1,000 career points.  The junior is also just the ninth player in Augustana women's basketball history to have at least 1,000 points, 300 rebounds, and 300 assists in her career.

The Vikings finished with an overall record of 16-12, 11-11 in the NSIC.

Schilling is one of two sophomores to earm all-region honors.  He was a first-team all-NSIC selection after leading the Vikings in scoring, (18.0 points per game), rebounding (8.4 per game), blocks (37) and steals (53). The Ellsworth, Minn. native shot 49 percent from 3-point range, averaged 2.9 assists per game and scored 20 points or more in 12 games.

Schilling had nine double-digit rebound performances for Augustana, and had two games where he scored 20-plus points and grabbed 15-plus rebounds. He finished second in the NSIC in scoring (19.0 points per game), fourth in rebounding (8.5 per game), 10th in assists (3.2 per game), fourth in steals (1.8 per game) and sixth in 3-point field goal percentage (45.7 percent).

Augustana finished the season 16-14 overall and 12-10 in the NSIC.

The Central Region is made up of teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, the Great American Conference and the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association.
