In a game that Augustana clearly was the underdog with the NSIC player of the year on the bench with a foot injury, the Vikings continued to do what they have done all year long and that is simply WIN.

Daniel Janzen hurt his foot in practice on Tuesday and it forced him to miss his first game in his illustrious career at Augie.

For some teams that would of been the end to a great season, but for this team it was just a chance for someone else to step up and thats exactly what Alex Richter did.

Alex Richter put in a career high 32 points as the Vikings were able to defeat #7 Tarleton State University 86-79.

It wasn't just Richter though, as Casey Schilling notched his 13 double-double of the season and received 13 points from Zach Huisken, 12 points from Adam Beyer and 10 points from Jordan Spencer.

With the win, the #2 Vikings advance to the Final Four which is also played in the same site as the Elite 8 in Frisco, TX.

They will play Western Oregon on Thursday at 830pm CT on CBS Sports Network.

If they win, they will advance to the National Championship game on Saturday, which will be played on CBS.
