The New York Yankees have drafted a left-handed pitcher out of Augustana University.

Dalton Lehnen was drafted in the 6th round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He was the 182nd overall pick and the only person out of the South Dakota colleges to be drafted (South Dakota native Jake Adams, who plays at Iowa, was drafted to Houston). Lehnen is currently a junior.
