BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. (AP) — The girls' soccer team in Belle Fourche is a bit unique this year. The team features seven pairs of sisters, split between the varsity and junior varsity squads.

The sibling sets include Alyssa and Noelle Brill, Brittany and Taylor Hunsley, Alexa and Bree Pierce, Sierra and Savannah Rosales, Rebekah and Katelynn Ruby, Jessica and Molly Ryan, and Bailee and Makenna Ward.

Head coach Kaysie Linch tells the Rapid City Journal that sometimes the older sisters encourage the younger ones, but once in a while they also get on one another's nerves. But she says for the most part they get along and work well together.

The varsity team is the second seed in the Class A tournament and will host a semifinal game on Saturday.
