Two race teams have been severely penalized by NASCAR. Violations were discovered on the cars of Brad Keselowski and Kevin Harvick after Sunday's race at Phoenix Raceway.

Keselowski's car failed measurements during post race inspection, and that will cost crew chief Paul Wolfe $65,000 and a three race suspension.

The good news, if any, for Keselowski, is that Brian Wilson will be filling in for Wolfe. Wilson has a lot of experience and knowledge as he was formerly the lead engineer for the number 2 team. The bad news is Team Penske is docked 35 driver and owner points.

Meanwhile, Rodney Childers, Harvick's crew chief, was fined $25,000 and suspended for one race. Additionally ten driver and team owner points were docked. The violation on the 4 car involved an illegal track bar mount and supports.

As the series heads to Southern California Sunday for The Auto Club 400, Kyle Larson leads the standings after three consecutive second place finishes.
