They say that every franchise needs a "franchise guy" at Quarterback. The Sioux Falls Storm just got their guy back. Chris Dixon will return to the team for the 2014 season. Dixon spent 2011-2012 with the Storm winning two Indoor Football League titles. He left in 2013 to play in the AFL.

“I had a great experience in the Arena League and learned a lot. But in my heart I know I’m nothing without my kids and not seeing them for six months last season made me realize what life is about. It’s about family and happiness, which is what I felt when I played here for the Storm,” said Chris Dixon.  “I missed the fans, teammates and coaching staff.  I’ll also have the opportunity to finally graduate from Augustana this semester.  All of this made playing in Sioux Falls a pretty easy decision.”

Success and Dixon work in the same sentence when it comes to the IFL. During his time in the league, he has won four titles (two with Billings, two with Sioux Falls), named IFL season MVP three times, and twice named United Bowl MVP. Dixon has not played a season in the modern IFL (2009-present) where he did not win the United Bowl. He will look to extend that this season with the Storm.

The Storm open their season at the Sioux Falls Arena on February 21st against Green Bay. For more information, visit their website at www.siouxfallsstorm.com
