Sioux Falls Lincoln, Washington, Roosevelt, and Rapid City Stevens have all advanced forward to tonight's semi-final round in the 2014 Class AA Boys Basketball Tournament in Rapid City.

And we're guaranteed at least one Sioux Falls school in the championship game tomorrow night.

(8) SF Lincoln vs. (5) SF Washington - 7:00CT on ESPN 99.1
These two teams both picked up 'upset' wins yesterday. First, Lincoln knocked out the top seeded Huron Tigers 62-57 in Overtime. The Pats were led by Kaleb Johnson's 27 points, most of which were made in the second half. Washington then followed with a victory over 4th seeded Pierre 63-50. Brett Stanley put in 26 for the Warriors

Tonight these two teams will meet again for the right to go to the championship game. This will be the fourth meeting this season between them. During the regular season, Washington went 2-0 against Lincoln including a double overtime win back on January 30th. The two teams met again during the first round of the District 2AA Tournament and Lincoln won 65-54 at the Warrior gym.

The Patriots were saved by Johnson yesterday in their game, but what makes them dangerous is that any player on the team could take over at once. The last time these two teams played, Washington held Johnson to just six points, but Calvin Krause had 18, while Addison Park added 17. Lincoln will look to get a more even distribution in this game from all of their starters like they had in their previous contest.

As for the Warriors, throughout the entire season they have been led by Brett Stanley. Stanley had 18 points in the District game against Lincoln. Washington has proven to be as resilient of a team as we've seen this season. They have won three out of four overtime games during the regular season, and they've continued to battle their way to state. As a team, they've flown under the radar. Tonight, some extra production from Sam Siganos, and Deng Geu could put this game in their favor. However, the one Warrior I'll be keeping my eye on is Austin Heins who can significantly change the game in the post against Park and Dunn.

(3) SF Roosevelt vs. (2) RC Stevens - 9:00CT on ESPN 99.1
Call it a "grudge match" if you will between these two. Roosevelt and Stevens met twice in the regular season and Stevens won both games by a combined eight points. The first meeting went into double overtime, while the second one ended with a technical foul called against Roosevelt in the late seconds. There is a sense that this was the game Roosevelt wanted another chance at.

The Rough Riders didn't have it easy last night, as they managed to defeat Yankton 59-53. Leading the way for Roosevelt was Chris Phillips who scored 20 points. Jason Spicer helped the Riders with 15.

As for Rapid City Stevens, the Raiders defeated Sturgis 72-48. Steven Schaefer, who averages 24 points per game, led the team with 26 points and eight rebounds. Sam McCloud also scored 13.

It has been the game most people have anticipated and it will happen tonight. Expect a very physical matchup again between Roosevelt and Stevens, and the focus will be on defense between them.

Both games will be broadcasted on ESPN 99.1 and online with ESPN991.com. Jerry Palleschi will have the call.
