A hat trick doesn't feel this good.

The crowd at Saturday's Ducks-Red Wings game in Detroit went bananas every time a little boy appeared on the big scoreboard. They also busted out a big case of the boos whenever the camera panned to someone else.

You know that feeling when you wake up Christmas morning, race downstairs and start tearing open your presents, basking in the glory of all the new toys you can play with? That pales in comparison to the emotions that should be coursing through this kid as an entire stadium shows undying love for him.

Gordie Howe, Steve Yzerman, Nicklas Lidstrom. They've all got some serious competition when it comes to beloved Red Wings stars.

The Red Wings won, by the way, by a score of 6-4. We're not above suggesting the team was inspired by this boy and he willed them to victory.
