Dad of Huskers Player Who Protested During Anthem Thanks Fans After Warm Reception Saturday
Last week many Husker fans were questioning a small minority of fans who used racial slurs and horrible innuendoes after Husker Michael Rose-Ivey and two other players knelt during the National Anthem prior to their road game against Northwestern.
This week, at the Huskers homecoming game in Lincoln, Michael Rose-Ivey received a much different response and his Dad and Mom were very thankful.
The Huskers would defeat Illinois on Saturday 31-16.
