Just because you build the NFL’s biggest, most ostentatious monument to yourself, apparently doesn’t mean you get to go in the locker room at other stadiums.

According to, Matt Barrie of KXAS-TV in Dallas saw Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, get locked out of the team’s locker room following Sunday night’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Matt Barrie said:

“It’s the angriest I’ve seen him all year,” Barrie wrote. Barrie joined “NFL AM” on Monday morning to confirm the story, noting that Jones eventually made his way into the locker room to field questions from reporters. That makes sense. After all, Jones is master and commander of the Cowboys. All of this is his. He’s not a man you leave on the outside looking in.

Barrie also tweeted the incident when it happened:

Tim McMahon of ESPN responded via his own Twitter account that it wasn’t a big deal:

Still, you gotta think that there were probably several members of the Cowboys that wished Jones could be locked out all the time.
