The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center has been nominated for another award. This time for Venue of the Year for medium capacity venue at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Since it opened its doors in October 2014, numerous country music acts have played in the venue. Names such as Jason Aldean (twice), Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, and Eric Church have all played at the venue.

The PREMIER Center is nominated against Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion at Meadowbrook in Gilford, Huntington Center in Toledo, and Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley will host the ACM Awards on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. CBS will televise the event.
