If you’ve listened to me over the last several years you’re probably asking yourself, “how long has he been on the radio?” Here’s a clue: my first job on the air was the year before the very first Star Wars movie hit the big screen. And it’s still the most enjoyable career a person could ever have. Every day after work my wife Lori asks me what choices I gave my listeners. It’s something you’ll hear me ask every day about 11:15am
EDUCATION: I was born in Asheville, NC and I grew up in Sioux Falls, SD and graduated from Roosevelt High School. From there I went to the University of Minnesota and ended up in Nashville, TN and received my Bachelors in Communications with a minor in Criminal Justice from Tennessee State University. CAREER: I began my sports radio career at the Sporting News Radio affiliate in Nashville in 2008 and hosted the award winning show "Sports Xtra" until the end of 2010
I might have been born in New York, but I've been a Sioux Falls kid my entire life. Following my run in the Sioux Falls public school system, I attended the University of South Dakota and obtained a degree in Contemporary Media and Journalism. When I'm not on KIKN or ESPN 99.1, you can usually find me at a sporting event in the area, on the bike trails, or out enjoying some golf. I appreciate you listening!
