Hotels at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas went from being available to immediately sold out with the announcement of the fight of the generation.

Finally the fight that the world wants to see will take place on May 2, 2015. Floyd "Money" Mayweather (47-0) announced that he reached an agreement with Manny Pacquiao (57-5-2). It might be five years late, but it's better than never.

According to Yahoo, Mayweather will receive a 60-40% split in the agreement of total revenue. Yahoo estimates the deal to be worth at least 120 million for Mayweather, and Pacquiao bringing in 80 million. The Pay-Per-View and live gate could easily make this the most successful sporting event, in terms of revenue, in history.

In case you're still in the "pinch me this can't be real" feeling. The contract has been verified and put on Twitter.
