When head coaches leave to take other jobs, it usually sets off a domino effect for  assistant coaches as well.  Such is the case in Oregon where Ducks Head Coach Chip Kelly is on his way to coach the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL.  Shortly after that move was announced, Oregon promoted Offensive Coordinator Mark Helfrich to head coach leaving the OC job available.

That means former Nebraska quarterback Scott Frost, the Ducks’ wide receivers coach, will be the new Oregon offensive coordinator.  Frost, who quarterbacked the Huskers last national title team, has only been a full-time coach since 2007.
