A cold shooting second half spelled doom for the Sioux Falls Skyforce as the Fort Wayne Mad Ants take advantage in a 93-81 decision on Saturday night with 4,275 onlookers at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

Sioux Falls (17-11) built an early 16 point lead, but let it slip away in the third quarter.  Fort Wayne (17-12) tightened up defensively and the Skyforce were unable to sustain any offensive rhythm in the final two quarters.  In the third stanza alone Sioux Falls was 3-17 from the floor then 7-24 in the fourth.

In a rare bit of roster doppelganger, two players named Tony Mitchell are suited up for Fort Wayne at the same time.  The shorter of the two who played college at Alabama came off the bench to notch 18 points while the taller one from North Texas collected 12 points and 14 rebounds in a starting role.   For the visiting Skyforce, Henry Walker led the way with 15 points with 13 apiece from DeAndre Liggins and A.J. Davis.  Watch the video below to see a capsule of the contest.

Taking a look at the big picture, Sioux Falls goes 1-2 in their three games away from home before returning for a game at the Sanford Pentagon Sunday night against the Erie BayHawks.  Fort Wayne will take a one game win streak to Canton for a Sunday contest of its own.
