Over his time as a relief pitcher in Minnesota, Glen Perkins gave Twins fans so many great memories.

One of those moments was in 2014, when he recorded the save for the AL team in the All Star Game at Target Field.

Now one of the best relief pitchers in Twins history is hanging up the glove and retiring from Major League Baseball.

On Wednesday, Perkins took to his Twitter account to announce his retirement.

In what was one of the best retirement statements, Perkins stuck to his personality in bidding farewell to baseball.

He ends his career with 120 career saves in 12 MLB seasons.
