The Green Bay Packers are coming off a big home win against the New England Patriots, last Sunday,

The Packers are the NFC's second seed and need to keep winning to keep pace with the Arizona Cardinals for the No. 1 seed and home-field advantage. The Cardinals beat the Chiefs, yesterday, to improve to 10-3. Green Bay is 9-3 heading into Monday night's match-up at Lambeau Field against Atlanta.

Atlanta is 5-7 and is sitting atop the NFC South standings. With a win, the Falcons would have first place to themselves. But even with a loss, Atlanta would be tied with New Orleans.

Heading into tonight at Lambeau, the Packers are 6-0 in 2014. Atlanta is 2-4 on the road this season.  Fresh off his 31st birthday earlier last week, Aaron Rodgers hasn't thrown an interception at home, either. (Rodgers' last interception at Lambeau Field was on December 2, 2012).

Rodgers is having an 'MVP' type season; he's thrown for 3,325 yards, 32 touchdowns, three interceptions and completed 66.3 percent of his passes.

The Green Bay offense is averaging 31.7 points per game this season.

Atlanta is averaging 24.3 points per season. The Falcons are coming off a victory over Arizona on the road, where Julio Jones caught 10 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown.

Green Bay's defense is averaging 22.3 points per game.

The Packers beat the Falcons last year on Dec. 8, 22-21. Coincidence? Perhaps because today is Dec. 8. With win at home tonight, Green Bay would win its fifth consecutive game.
