VERMILLION, S.D. (AP) - Harding County quarterback Jess Feist threw for 290 yards and six touchdowns to lead Harding County to a 50-20 win over Colome on Thursday in the South Dakota 9B championship football game.

Feist completed a record 16 of 18 passes, including two TDs each to Ckyler Floyd, Steven Koch and Harley Mollman. Floyd had 115 receiving yards for the Ranchers (12-0).

Feist also led Harding County in rushing with 86 yards.

The Ranchers took control for good when Mollman returned an interception 99 yards for a score late in the third quarter.

Colome (10-2) rushed for 366 yards. Quarterback Terrance Kinzer led the way with 187 yards and two TDs. Andrew Odden added 163 yards.
