How did the Super Soaker get Invented?

As a kid one of my favorite childhood toys was the Super Soaker!

The combination of the toy gun, the power, the water and usually the good weather when playing with the Super Soaker made it a awesome toy as a kid.

Now I can't remember the last time I broke out a Super Soaker but when I stumbled upon this video detailing out the invention of the Super Soaker, I had to watch and you must to.

I would of expected a frat boy or a former frat boy to create the Super Soaker, not a NASA genius.
