As I've been preparing for the upcoming game between Lincoln and Rapid City Central, I punched the numbers of Sioux Falls vs. Rapid City in football since 2004.

It seemed like each year when I was in high school that homecoming games were played against a team from Rapid City. Each year Sioux Falls continued to dominate Rapid City Central or Stevens. But just how lopsided has it become?

Rapid City Stevens and Rapid City Central both come to Sioux Falls twice each year. They also host two Sioux Falls schools during one season. Each year a minimum of eight games are played between the two Rapid City schools and the four Sioux Falls schools. Here's just how bad the series has become.
