So you're trying to figure out a way to watch the upcoming Mayweather/McGregor fight without dropping $100. Good news, a cheaper option just popped up.

It was announced today by ESPN that Fathom Events will be showing the fight in movie theaters across the country. These events are usually shown in our area at both Century Theater locations in Sioux Falls.

This one won't be any different. Both Century Theaters in town have the event listed online. Tickets for both theaters went on sale as soon as the announcement was made earlier today.

The price? $43 per person compared to the $100 price to order at home through pay-per-view.

Add in some popcorn and a drink or so, and you could still save some money. That's unless you're paying the tab for a party of five or so.

Other bars around the area will probably show the fight with a cover charge. We'll ask around and keep you updated on that as we get closer.

But if you need to save a little bit of money but want to watch the fight, the movie theater might be a great option for you.
