It's been a long wait for racing to return to Huset's Speedway. The wait is finally over as a new season is here.

Sunday night the track comes alive for 2014. It's the much anticipated first race of the year.

Mother's Day has always been considered the day racing begins at Huset's. This year is no exception.

It is a very special season for the famed speedway. 2014 is the 60th anniversary season for Huset's.

The track was founded in 1954 by Till Huset. There were two seasons that no racing ran in 1956 and 1957, but all the other years were packed full of racing action that has given the track it's rich history.

The best drivers from around the world have competed at Huset's. Many of the legends got their start there.

The track has been owned and operated by the Rubin family of Brandon, South Dakota since 1988. They have one of the longest tenures of any track promoters in the nation.

Sunday night's 2014 season opener at Huset's will feature outlaw sprints, 360 sprints, b-mods and two classes of stock cars. Racing starts at 7PM.
