With the kickoff of the 2014 football season a little more that a month away, we know a lot more about the Nebraska Cornhuskers schedule.

The Huskers annual Fan Day is Friday, August 1st, from 2:00 to 2:30pm.

The event takes place at Memorial Stadium, and includes autograph opportunities with the Nebraska player and coaches.

As for the actual game schedule, kickoff times have now been announced for what will be the 125 season of Nebraska football.

The August 30th opener against Florida Atlantic, in Lincoln,will start at with a 2:30pm.  The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

Game two, September 6th against McNeese State, also at Memorial Stadium, starts at 11:00am on ESPNU.

Nebraska will play five straight night games — three of them on the road.

The Huskers head to Fresno State, September 13th, for a 9:30pm Central Time kickoff, they host Miami, September 20th, at 7:00pm, host Illinois, September 27th at 8:00pm, then  Nebraska plays at Michigan State, October 4th, at 7:00pm, and at Northwestern, October 18th, at 6:30pm.

Start times for Nebraska’s final five games — Rutgers, Purdue, at Wisconsin, Minnesota and at Iowa — have yet to be determined, although the November 28th game against the Hawkeyes is expected to be either at 11:00am or 2:30pm on ABC.
