If You’ve Ever Wanted To Become An Umpire, This May Be Your Chance.

The SD ASA Annual Umpire school is this weekend at St. Thomas More School in Rapid City.

The clinic registration and welcome will be Friday April 11th from 7:00-9:00 pm. The school will start Saturday morning at 8:00 am. There will be a supper break at 5:30 with the evening session beginning at 7:00. Sunday's schedule is 8:00 am lasting till 1:00 pm. Friday and Saturday night are informal meetings and not mandatory.

Cost for the school will be $70.00 and you may register at the door.

Clinicians will be Jerry Fick from Cincinnati, Dave Maudsley from Sacramento, and Steve Riswold from Sioux Falls, three of  ASA’s National Staff and top clinicians. Items covered will include rules, mechanics, 1, 2, and 3 man umpiring systems in both fastpitch and slowpitch. For more info call local coordinator Justin Amundson at 605-390-7875.
