The University of Iowa Football team continues to battle in Big10 play as they are right in the thick of the West Division.

Now they will be without one of their pieces defensively as they host Northwestern this Saturday in Iowa City.

University of Iowa linebacker Reggie Spearman has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and head coach Kirk Ferentz has announced a minimum one-game suspension.

That suspension is currently predicated on the facts that have been released to this point.  However, according to multiple reports, if more info comes out, then a longer suspension could be in play.

Iowa is 5-2 on the season and 2-1 in the Big10 conference.
