As Iowa State University has got off to a 0-2 start, head coach Paul Rhoads has stayed the course with their game plan and forged on as if they will be ok come season's end.

I agree with him on the "ok" part that's for sure.  I believe ISU will be a bowl team come season's end and a lot of my confidence comes from past experience with Paul Rhoads and knowing what kind of leader he is.

Iowa State's defense has been a big concern and rightfully so.  In their game against UNI, they were unable to tackle on the initial contact.  It got better against Iowa, but it needs to improve.

Also an area that needs to improve is the rushing game.  We'll see if the Cylcones can sure up their running game as the season progresses.

Head Coach of ISU Paul Rhoads joined me on Overtime to talk about the season so far and what is yet to come.

Take a listen and enjoy.
