Derrick Rose makes his return to the NBA tonight, as the Chicago Bulls meet the two-time defending champions, Miami Heat.

Rose missed all of last season, while recovering from a torn ACL. Today, the star point guard makes his comeback and told ESPN Chicago, "I think I am way better as a player. My IQ has gotten higher, and just the way that I play I think I'm a more efficient player. And my teammates allow me to play the way I normally play."

Rose won the NBA MVP in 2010-2011, while averaging 25.0 points, 7.7 assists, and 4.1 rebounds. He shot 44.5% from the field and 33.2% from long range that season as well.

Rose and the Bulls tip off against the Heat at 7 p.m. CDT tonight.
