The University of South Dakota women's track team already has a trio of talented pole valuters in junior Bethany Buell, sophomore Emily Grove, and freshman Madison Mills, and now you can add the country's top high school pole valuter to that roster.

The Coyotes have a committment from Emily Brigham of Mill Valley High School in Shawnee, Kansas.  She enters her senior year as the #1 vaulter in the nation with a top height of 13-6¼.  Brigham placed first in both the Junior Olympics Association Championships and the AAU National Junior Olympics last season.

She also was a state champion in the long jump with the third-best mark in the nation (20-4) and was undefeated in both events.

On this year's USD team, Buell is fourth in the nation indoors with a jump of 14-2.
