It's a well rested group of Jackrabbits that take the floor Thursday night to close out the first half of the Summit League season.

The South Dakota State women haven't played in more than a week, since knocking off Western Illinois 74-61 last Wednesday.

In that game, the Jacks shot 51 percent from the floor, outscored the Leathernecks by 18 points in the paint, and went on a pair of big runs to blow the game open.

Macy Miller was red hot, hitting seven of her 11 shots for 20 points, while Megan Waytashek returned from illness to notch a double-double (22 points/11 rebounds), earning her Summit League Co-Player and College Sports Madness Summit League Mid-Major Player of the Week honors.

SDSU head coach Aaron Johnston says having his senior leader back made a big difference:

Week five of the Summit League schedule starts with Oral Roberts at Frost Arena Thursday night.

The Golden Eagles are back in the conference after a three-year absence and have one of the top post players in the nation in 6'7 Vicky McIntyre.  McIntyre is tops in the nation in rebounding (15 per game) and blocked shots (five per game), and leads the Summit League in free throw shooting (93%).

Coach Johnston knows his post players are in for a challenge against ORU:

Tipoff is 7:00 PM in Brookings Thursday night.
