According to the Daily Jolt at SportsIlustated.com, sources have told Action Sports the Jacksonville Jaguars may make a play for Tim Tebow before Thursday’s trade deadline. Action Sports is looking to confirm the deal and will call the Jaguars general manager Gene Smith and ask him if he will make a play for Tebow.

The Jaguars were one of several teams that were interested in Tebow before the Denver Broncos traded him to the New York Jets.

Tebow has passed for 32 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions for the Jets. He has also rushed for 78 yards, and no touchdowns this year. He is the back up to Mark Sanchez.
