Throughout the year we get caught up in our daily lives, taking for granted all the joys we experience each and every day.

Usually around the Holidays, most of us get an opportunity to spend time with family, have some time off to reflect and start to ponder the year that was.

Each year, I fall into the same trap as most, over looking all that has made me happy and joyful while taking for granted all the things I’m thankful for.

So do me a favor… Take some time and do as I have, look back, reflect and think about what you are thankful for this year!

As we march toward Christmas, I present my 15 Days of Thanks!

Day 3:

Now this one is fun...

Growing up in South Dakota, I was privileged to have the opportunity to eat chislic on regular basis.  And no, not lamb chislic, but beef chislic.

However, for some reason when we moved to Nashville for 4 years, I forgot about one of my favorite foods on the planet.

Since I've been back for about 18 months, I usually dive into some chislic once or twice a week and by the way Sioux Falls has some great beef chislic.

Starz, Overtime Sports Grill & Bar and my personal favorite Bogeys all have great chislic.

So as I get a few days off this Holiday season, I guarantee I will be frequenting the above mentioned spots for my fill of beef chislic.
