Many thought that the trade deadline deal that sent KG back "home" to Minnesota would be essentially a glorified farewell tour for the Timberwolves best player in team history.

However, we had been told numerous times by guys on our show such as Jon Krawczynski of the AP, that indeed Kevin Garnett is intending on returning for the 2015-2016 season.

#21 coming back for his 21st season is a great story of resiliency, determination and excellence from Garnett.  Often injured over the last couple of seasons, you hate to see a all-time great go out without showing signs of his one time greatness.

ESPN's Mark Stein had this to say on twitter today in regards to the topic:

No definitive word yet, but rumbles out of 'Sota persist that Kevin Garnett is still leaning toward coming back for season No. 21 in '15-16

If KG indeed elects to play on in 2015-16, he'd match the 21-season runs of @KevinWillis42 and Robert Parish in terms of longest NBA career

I've always been a huge KG fan and would certainly welcome another year of KG in the NBA.
