Kyle Busch not only won at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup race, but he set two records.

He led the most laps in a race at Indy, plus became the first driver to sweep both a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series race from the pole in the same weekend.

Busch led 149 of the 170 laps. This was 25 miles more than the race was scheduled to run due to late race cautions.

One of the late race incidents caused race stoppage for nearly eight minutes when Carl Edwards triggered a five car pile-up on lap 154.

Busch, who stayed on old rubber along with five other drivers, cleared Joey Logano and Matt Kenseth at the restart and pulled away like a man on a mission to the finish.

Kenseth in second, Jimmie Johnson third, Denny Hamlin fourth and Kyle Larson posting a fourth top five this season, was the top pack at the checkers. See where your driver came in.

A very symbolic event took place after the race was completed. As Busch was doing his celebratory burnout for the crowd, two legends were in the back drop circling the track.

Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart were taking a special parade lap marking the last appearances at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the both of them.

Gordon, subbing for Dale Earnhardt, Jr., finished in 13th. Stewart recovered from a pit road speeding penalty to finish 11th in his retirement year.
