Kyle Busch came from deep in the field and won the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday at Pocono Raceway at Long Pond, Pennsylvania. He held off Daniel Suarez, who was pushing hard for his first ever series win.

Pocono Raceway is known as the "Tricky Triangle". It's one of three tracks on the circuit measuring 2.5 miles. The other two being Indy and Daytona.

Pocono is the last place you would want your brakes to go out on your car. There were two restarts late in the race where Suarez was making a determined charge on Busch.

The first of those restarts were caused by a violent wreck when Bubba Wallace hit the wall hard. He fell out of the race with a destroyed race car.

Busch ended up holding of Suarez at the end. Suarez ended 1.7 seconds back in second place, the best finish of his career. I think if he would have won, many racing fans would have cheered it.

Busch and Kevin Harvick have won the majority of the races this year, with six wins apiece. This time they both started way back in the field 28th and 29th respectively due to post qualifying inspection issues.

Alex Bowman ran third, a career-best finish. Harvick was fourth followed by recent Daytona winner Erik Jones. See where your driver finished.
