Sunday's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway was a battle between two top drivers nearing the end of the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500.

It was Kyle Busch and  Kevin Harvick racing to the checkered flag hard over the final 23 laps of the race. Busch came out on top.

It was the victory he had been working on all season. Busch had finished as the runner up on three separate occasions without making the win column in 2018.

But now he finally has a win this year. Busch did it by driving flawless over the closing laps. Masterfully blocking Harvick on the bottom of the race track was definitely key.

Harvick can be proud of his second place finish due to the fact that he had to make up a lot of ground caused by pit stop problems. A flying lug nut jamming the jack, returning with a loose wheel, too many pit men over the wall after one guy accidentally fell, and the list goes on.

Jamie McMurray ran third, Erik Jones got his first top five of the season with fourth place and Ryan Blaney overcame brake problems to run fifth. See where your driver finished.
