Custom cleats have never been more popular among NFL players than during the 2016 season. Players across the league have worn everything from furry and flashy to bright and meaningful cleats.

Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph is embracing the custom-cleat trend.

If Kyle Rudolph wears customized cleats on Christmas Eve, the cleats obviously must be Christmas themed. And if you're last name is Rudolph, there's only one Christmas character that belongs on those custom cleats.

Not only is the last name-Christmas character connection humorous, but the cleats don't look too shabby either.

Now if only they played "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," too.
