SARASOTA, Fla. (AP)  — Minnesota’s Josh Willingham opened the Grapefruit League season with two hits, including a two-run homer, though the Baltimore Orioles rallied late for a 5-3 win on Saturday.

Willingham, coming off a season in which he set career highs in home runs, runs and RBI, lined a pitch from Tommy Hunter over the fence in left in the third inning to put the Twins in front.

Chris Davis had two hits for the Orioles and Matt Wieters doubled and scored on a sacrifice fly by J.J. Hardy. Non-roster invitee Trayvon Robinson broke a 3-3 tie in the eighth with a two-run homer off Minnesota’s Tyler Robertson.

Minnesota starter Kevin Correia allowed a run on two hits in two innings. Correia signed with the Twins last December after spending two years in Pittsburgh.
