Sioux Falls Lincoln ran away with the South Dakota boys state tennis championship Saturday in Rapid City.

The Patriots finished the three day state tournament with 696 points, easily outdistancing runner up Mitchell.  The Kernals had 577 points.  Sioux Falls O'Gorman, Sioux Falls Washington and Rapid City Stevens rounded out the top five in the team standings.

Sioux Falls players dominated the singles competition, winning titles in all six flights.  O'Gorman's Tommy Entwistle took the first flight singles title with a 6-4, 5-7, 6-1 victory over Chuck Lang of Rapid City Stevens.

Elliot Hartwing of Washington defeated Mitchell's Beau Brown 6-3, 6-4 for the second flight singles crown.

The Patriots claimed the remaining singles championships with Sam Dobbs, Austin Noldner, Arjun Choudhry and Erik Rossing winning flights three through six.

Lincoln swept all three doubles championships.  Kaleb Dobbs and Brent Heflin defeated the Knights' Tommy Entwistle and Jake Moran 7-5, 7-6(4) for the first flight title.
