MUSKEGON, MI -- Sioux Falls Stampede goaltender Charlie Lindgren stopped 13 of 15 shots for Team East at the 2013 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Muskegon, Mich. Wednesday night. Due to uneven numbers on each team, Lindgren suited up for Team East. Team West won the game 2-1.

Lindgren got the start for Team East and stopped 9 of 10 shots in the first period and 4 of 5 shots in 10:40 of the second period.

Stampede head coach Cary Eades gets the win behind the bench, coaching Team West with legendary head coach Doug Woog.

Connor McGlynn (Sioux City) scored on a one-timer in the first period to give Team West a 1-0 lead. Jason Cotton (Tri-City) scored 1:53 into the second period to extend the lead for Team West. It would stay that way until 15:08 of the third when John Hayden (Team USA) scored for Team East to pull them within a goal, but that would be as close as they would get.

Team East outshot Team West 32-24 on the night and finished 0-for-3 on the powerplay while Team East was 0-for-2.

The Stampede return to action this Friday when they travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. to face Team USA
