Los Angeles Sparks and three-time WNBA MVP Lisa Leslie joined Jeff Thurn on Friday's edition of Overtime.

Leslie is also a four-time Olympic gold medal winner.

She was on Radio Row on behalf of American Federation for Children to bring awareness to parents to tell them that kids should get the best education possible. She teamed up with Deion Sanders and launched a PSA to tell parents that children are dropping out the highest rate in our country. The pair is telling parents that children should have different options such as charter schools, vouchers to private schools or home schooling.

Leslie on what she recommends for funding to allow those options to children:

"That varies state to state. We are urging parents to step up, and if you're state is not having that, to let your legislation know that is something you're interested in and why can't they have funding that can provide kids with the best education possible, why should you have to stay in an underserved area because that's where you live?
